PHARMACY PRACTICE

Introduction The Master of Sciences in Pharmacy (MPharm) is the standard master's degree program in Pharmacy, equipping graduates with comprehensive knowledge in various branches of Pharmaceutical Sciences to meet the increasing demands across different fields. SJCOPS offers M.Pharm in four different specializations: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacy Practice.

Eligibility To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed the B. Pharm Degree examination from an Indian university recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate of the second, third, and fourth years (or the third to eighth semester, as applicable) of the B Pharm program. Additionally, every student selected for admission to a Post Graduate pharmacy program in an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council within one month of admission; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of admission. Candidates who have obtained their B.Pharm degree from universities other than the Kerala University of Health Sciences must submit a migration certificate from their respective university.

Short Title and Commencement These regulations are referred to as "The Revised Regulations for the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Degree Program – Credit Based Semester System (CBSS) of the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi." They will be effective from the Academic Year 2016-17 and are subject to modification by the university authorities.
